5 Best Things to Know About the LG G5

The LG G5 turned out to be something we’d thought that’d go by what we’ve seen with the predecessors. However, the G5 turned out to be something totally different from what we’ve already seen in the previous models of the G series. To list down a few features which make the G5 is no tough task, since there are many. So here is a list of 5 best things about the LG G5.

The Design

LG is yet another company which has rather been stuck on using plastic and a design which does not at all give a ‘flagship’ device look. However, with the G5, the table’s totally changed, and the entire metal body made the device a favorite among many as well as produced a premium look. Unlike Apple and Samsung, the top rivals of the device, it is the use of total metal which made the phone unique.  The full metal body sure gave the Smartphone an extra star and an extra point. Moreover, the slight “lip” surrounding the display of the LG G4 is gone in this device and is replaced by a slight bend in along with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 at the top of the display,

Removable Battery

LG is among the few smartphone making companies which still continues to launch the flagship devices with a removable battery, which, is, without doubt one amazing feature for the Smartphone.

Apart from that, LG G5 is the world’s first modular smartphone. So what does modular smartphone means? Well it means the user can pull out the bottom section of the handset. Or more precisely the bezel below the screen comes away from the handset, taking with it the lemon-colored battery inside and lets the users to insert a variety of optional “modules”, which the Korean tech giant termed as the “Friends”. Moreover, the user can insert various peripherals too which don’t come pre installed with the handset. All the additional modules or accessories offer different features but are same in size. Developed by Bang & Olufsen, the LG Hi-Fi Plus module includes a DAC audio player to enhance the audio quality of the phone. On the other hand, the LG CAM Plus camera module offers additional camera controls and extended battery life to the handset. A button placed on the lower left edge of the smartphone unlocks the module mechanism.

The expandable storage option

2016 hasn’t given us any flagship with such a feature. To rather buy a memory card of however much GBs you wish to use is any day a wiser choice, rather than paying those extra bucks for buying a Phone with an equal amount of inbuilt memory. Looks like LG is rather focusing on customer satisfaction than simply making those extra bucks.

Processing and Performance

With this, we have rather included almost all the features of the LG G5, but, it is also because it is without doubt one of the best devices we could have wished for. The Smartphone has a 4 GB of RAM and an Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Though this will soon be nothing in comparison to what it brought earlier, since we now also have phones with a 6 GB of RAM and are hoping a lot more in the near future. But, to do that so soon, LG did surprise us!

Display and additional devices

LG has cut down the screen size of the current flagship device compared to their previous flagship G4. The G5 flaunts a 5.3-inch display size with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 554 PPI. Moreover, LG has also introduced the Always-On Display (AOD) technique in this handset. This brand new Always-On Display ensures that the key information is shown on screen at all times. So if a user wants to check the time, data or any new notifications; all they have to do is to take a glance at the screen of the handset.
To have a list of devices which you can connect to your Smartphone and work it all up is nothing less of an achievement, some of the devices include the likes of 360 CAM, 360 VR, and a lot more!

The LG G5 brought for us a lot of amazing features, and we can, without doubt still back up on LG for the upcoming LG G6 next year.
